About Me
Becoming a therapist and coach was a natural progression from my early career as a medical secretary in psychiatry and a legal secretary in the family department of a firm of solicitors, where I saw firsthand the challenges people face and the strength it takes to overcome them. I also volunteered with Victim Support UK, offering support to people during some of the most vulnerable times in their lives. These experiences deepened my understanding of empathy and the importance of being truly heard.
To build on this foundation, I completed a degree in criminology and social policy, followed by a training course in domestic violence. I went on to complete a graduate diploma in psychology and later undertook postgraduate training in counselling and coaching, along with specialist training in couples counselling. These studies and experiences shape the way I work today. I offer a warm, supportive, and integrative approach, drawing on different methods to meet each person’s unique needs.
It is deeply rewarding to see clients find clarity, rebuild confidence, and strengthen their relationships. I work collaboratively and at a pace that feels right for each individual or couple, helping them explore patterns, develop awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change. The trust people place in me is a privilege, and I feel honoured to support them as they heal and grow.
